Hmm, in any case...I've been reading into modern history a great deal lately, about world wars and such. I've had a great interest in such things for a long time, now...for quite a few years, in fact, and Hetalia's sparked that interest back up. I'm so glad I kept my old history notes and textbooks, they make for some really interesting reading.

Studying texts from other nationalities and countries is interesting, too, even if I'm limited by various language barriers. _{(heee, the apes are hyperventilating...now the humans are...oh look, a dead body.)} I mean, one can't really tell how much of what one is taught within one's own country is biased, so it's best to look at as broad a spectrum of resources possible, right?

...you know what, a good deal of the history of Britain is really less than noble. D: Now I'm proud of my British heritage, but it's quite unsettling to see the things the Kingdom has gotten up to in the past. _{("play dead", FFFF xD)} Hnn, I guess it can't be helped, _{(heee, an error in the subtitles *pedantic glee*)} I mean, every country has its fair share of a bloody past, so...
